Painting description

Egg tempera on gesso ground prime wood panels;
Genuine gold leaf karati 23¾ burnished and chiselled. Gold in powder karati 23¾.
The geometrical shape of the icon has been made according to the byzantin canon of Panosky's three circles theory and to the principle of tangents and secants.

Earths and oxides, cadmium red medium extrafine, Prussian blue, oxide chromium orange.
