Painting description

Egg tempera on gesso ground prime wood panels.
Genuine gold leaf karati 22, burnished and chiselled.
Calligraphy in vermilion genuine.
Free interpretation of the"Acheipoietos" and "Spas Mokraia Boroda"dating back to the XII and XV Centuries.
The geometrical shape of the icon was made according to the Byzantine canon of Panovsky's three circles theory.
